These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and IFSC Index (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

IFSC Index provides a free, publicly accessible web-based directory for looking up Indian Financial System Codes (IFSC), MICR codes, and associated bank branch information. The service is supported by advertising revenue.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use any automated system, bot, spider, scraper, or data-mining tool to access, index, or harvest data from the Site without our express prior written permission.
• Make programmatic or automated requests to our search endpoints, lookup API, or static data files at a volume or frequency that constitutes bulk extraction of our database.
• Reproduce, redistribute, sell, or sublicense the data available on this Site without written authorisation.
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security feature or rate-limiting mechanism of the Site.
• Use the Site to transmit spam, malware, or any other harmful content.
• Misrepresent affiliation with IFSC Index or the Reserve Bank of India.

The Site's design, layout, software, and presentation are the intellectual property of IFSC Index. The underlying banking data is sourced from the Reserve Bank of India and the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), which are public institutions. We make no proprietary claim over raw factual data (IFSC codes, branch addresses), but our aggregation, formatting, and search infrastructure are proprietary.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or display advertisements from third-party networks (including Google AdSense). These third parties have their own privacy policies and terms of service. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. A link to a third-party site does not imply our endorsement.

While we strive to maintain accurate data, we do not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or timeliness of any IFSC code or bank branch information on the Site. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IFSC Index shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its data.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
